Tim Hampson
BA (hons) DipArch RIBA ARIAS
 

Tim is a vastly experienced architect with exemplary academic qualifications and a career spanning 25 years. Having previously worked for a number of high-profile international practices – including Building Design Partnership, ABK and Elsom Pack Roberts – he has been with Dyer since 1992 and has been a Director of the practice since 1994.


Having spearheaded the establishment of Dyer’s London office in 1999, Tim has since been instrumental in developing the practice’s various GroupDyer affiliations and ventures into mainland Europe, the Russian Federation and the Middle East.


Tim excels in team leadership and client liaison. He has considerable experience across all sectors and has worked with large multi-national companies, government agencies and major developers, often over the course of several projects. He has an excellent track record in securing planning permission, often for complex and constrained sites.


A member of the Institute of Directors, Tim maintains many professional interests and has presented on Sustainable Waterfront Development as part of Urban Design Week and the Waterfront Expo in Riga.


Philip Ball
MArch DipArch RIBA RIAS
 

Philip joined Dyer as a Director in 2000, having previously worked in the UK and mainland Europe for practices including Swanke Hayden Connell and Building Design Partnership (BDP). To date, he has over 25 years’ experience in architectural practice across a range of market sectors in both the public and private realms.


As a concept-focused Director, Philip is responsible for developing and maintaining the high quality of the practice’s design work: ensuring delivery of the best and most appropriate design solutions on programme, to budget and in keeping with the integrity of the original vision.


He has won numerous awards for his work, including the John Keppie Scholarship and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Silver Medal. He has also won several high-profile conceptual design and ideas competitions at international level and his work has been widely published. Philip is known at Dyer for his enthusiasm about every project he works on and every client he works with. He has represented the practice at many conferences and thinktanks and has co-facilitated workshops on ‘sustainable architectural solutions to modern learning campuses’.


Dale Sinclair

Dale joined Dyer as a Director in October 2003. His previous experience includes almost twenty years at Building Design Partnership, where he led the practice’s working groups on internal processes and envelope technology and latterly became a Director.


Dale has been instrumental in the development of Dyer’s quality assured management system - DyerProcess. This ongoing exercise led to the practice being named as AJ100 ‘Business Achiever of the Year’ in 2007. He is particularly knowledgeable and passionate about sustainability issues and spearheaded the company’s drive to become ISO 14001 accredited. His career portfolio includes several award-winning, ‘green’ buildings - including the new campus for Queen Margaret University which is one of only a handful of education buildings in the UK with a BREEAM rating of ‘excellent’.


With extensive expertise in leading large teams on projects across a range of market sectors, Dale is skilled at ensuring timely delivery of robust concepts. While seconded to our joint venture company AnshenDyer as Managing Director (2004-2006), he maintained close involvement in the strategic management of the practice’s major PFI projects.


Tamas Deilinger
MSc Architecture (ARB and MEK Registered Architect)
 

Tamas joined Dyer in April 2007, having previously worked in France and Hungary. He has an exemplary academic and research background, with particular emphasis on the positive social effects of mixed use development. Through scholarships and intern programmes, he has studied in France, the USA and his native Hungary. He has won multiple awards.


Tamas was made Associate in 2009 and has day-to-day responsibility for running jobs. He is skilled in all aspects of team leadership and in liaising with clients, contractors and consultants. He is experienced at taking clients from early concept through design development on international level including several large scale projects in Russia as he is also fluent in Russian. Tamas’ role requires flexibility to deal with different contexts and the vision to propose inspired solutions.


Tamas’ design expertise has led to involvement in work across a wide range of sectors and scales. Having worked on several leisure and retail schemes in his career, he has consolidated his portfolio with several complex and major mixed use developments. This include residential Masterplans, high rise apartment and office buildings, shopping and leisure schemes.


Kaz Norozian
BA DipArch
 

Kaz joined Dyer in October 2007, having previously worked for several large practices including urban architects CZWG and major international firm Benoy Ltd.


Kaz’s academic background is in contextual design, with particular emphasis on the relationship between form, programming and site in urban architecture. In practice, he has built on this expertise through involvement in several landmark city centre schemes. His contribution to competition-winning regeneration projects - such as Barnsley Town Centre - has strengthened his skills base in masterplanning, mixed use design and brownfield development. Kaz has worked for a range of commercial and public clients, from Arsenal Football Club to The Home Office and the Ministry of Defence. His experience takes in all major procurement routes, including public/private vehicle PFI.


Having worked in Russia, Hong Kong and the Middle East, he has experience of collaborating with international consultants and contractors. He has also worked in partnership with other UK practices on a joint venture basis.


Fei Yang
 

Fei joined Dyer in October 2005, having previously worked for Chinese firm CIEDC Ltd. He has an exemplary academic background, securing numerous scholarships and obtaining a first class honours degree.


Fei’s particular specialism is sustainable building design. In practice, he has built upon his research in solar architecture by gaining expertise in environmental analysis tools such as Ecotect and Radiance. He has also been able to explore many aspects of his theoretical work on daylighting in atrium buildings. His work has been published in the “International Journal of Environmental, Cultural, Economic & Social Sustainability” (vol 3; 2007).


Through contact with the Beijing Industrial Design & Research Institute, Fei maintains a keen awareness of developments and trends in contemporary Chinese architecture. His portfolio includes many high-profile projects which reflect China’s particular identity and both its socio-economic and environmental context.


David Cameron
BSc(hons) DipArch
 

David joined Dyer in July 2000 and was promoted to Associate in January 2007. He was one of the first staff to work in Dyer’s London office and has been instrumental in its success.


David’s portfolio takes in projects across a range of sectors, predominantly for major multi-national companies(including ASDA, MBNA Europe and American Airlines) and incorporating a mix of uses. He is highly skilled at dealing with the range of issues governing brownfield urban sites and the public realm, including regeneration briefs and masterplanning complexities.


David has developed excellent working relationships with his clients, many of whom he has worked with over the course of several projects. He is experienced at leading design teams and taking clients from early concept through design development and detailed planning applications. He has worked within both the public and private sectors.


Nick Russon
HNC MCIAT ACIOB
 

Nick joined Dyer in 1995 following a successful career as a partner in a Midlands based practice. He was promoted to Associate in 1998, Project Director in 2005 and Associate Director in 2009.


As a key team member in driving forward the DyerProcess initiative, Nick is involved in all aspects of the management of Dyer as a business and also its portfolio of projects. His particular expertise is contract based and he has led major projects in both the public and private sectors. His role involves the collation and preparation of client briefs and ‘design intent’ documents, the co-ordination of consultants’ information, the supervision of production information (including drawings and specifications) and post contract management. He has often adopted an assessor role for clients, appraising bids for specialist bio-medical research facilities, for example. He has also acted as site co-ordinator on two major PFI hospital projects, a role which involved close teamwork with cost consultants, structural and services engineers and package contractors.


Nick has worked on large, public sector buildings for corporate and government clients. Many of these projects have included high-spec, secure elements such as datacentres etc.


Elizaveta Luchitskaya
 

Elizaveta joined Dyer in 2011 with an exemplary commercial background, having previously held the position of Commercial Director for global property service company DTZ. Prior to this she was Head Press Secretary at MCapital Property Management and was recognised by the Moscow government as being part of 'the intellectual future of Moscow'.


As Regional Director for Dyer's Russian operations, Elizaveta is responsible for business development in the region, developing and maintaining relations with current and potential partners for projects in Russia and other CIS countries.


Holding an honours degree in Finance and Credit as well as an MBA in Marketing, Elizaveta combines her expertise in the financial and property sectors with a passion for world-class architecture, playing a key role in ensuring Dyer's ongoing success within the Russian region.
